Friends Are My Pocket Full of Sunshine

These are my lovely roommates. This semester
has been, by far, my favorite as far as roommates go. They are all such great girls!

We decided to take roommate pictures after our ward opening social which conveniently took place in the BYU-I gardens. It was a lot of fun; we made a couple of our guy friends tag along so that they could be our photographers. They did a pretty good job, I was impressed.

Oh, and side note... our opening social was really fun too. We have a great bishopric! And they are SO good to us; they always go "all out" when we get together as a ward. For example, they fed us steak for dinner at the social. Steak... our whole ward... steak. And, yummy, it was good! I feel very blessed to be where I am in my life, with such great people.

Held For Ransom! Opperation: We're Out of Luck

I have GREAT roommates this semester! They are wonderful girls!
We decided that we needed to have a little fun, so we decided to kidnap this Hairdo Doll Head that some of our guy friends have in their apartment (They should not even own dolls anyway, right?) after kidnapping her without getting caught, we began preparing the ransom note, which turned out amazing! Pictures were included and the note was delivered to the boys. This whole situation would have turned out perfectly... except that we forgot to lock our apartment door before we left for the park where we would do the exchange (the doll for cookies.) The whole operation turned into "Operation: Out of Luck", when we realized that three of the boys roommates were not at the park but rather they were busy ransacking our apartment. So... long story short, they got their doll back, we did not get cookies, and our apartment was severely disheveled when we got home. The boys walked away singing "We are the Champions." They better look out though, we already have plans for a new "joke," only this time, we will be the "champions."

We finally got to hold baby Dominick last week! He is so sweet! He is doing so good! I hope he gets to go home soon!

Classes are Underway!!

School started again, yesterday, at BYU Idaho! I really have loved my time on BYU Idaho's wonderful campus these last few years. It is such a blessing to have such an amazing institution for students to attend. I think I am really going to enjoy my classes this semester; they seem interesting. I am mostly taking classes that relate to my Health Science major. I hope that I can manage my time well!

Little man, Dominick!

Welcome to the family sweet little friend!
Christina had baby Dominick this morning at about ten.
He came two months early and is so little, just 4 lbs. He is doing
really well despite how early he came; he is breathing on his own
and is as pink as can be. I am so happy to have a new little nephew
and can hardly wait until I can acctually hold him and kiss his soft
little cheeks! He has such a sweet little spirit and he is deffinatly a
fighter! I love him so much. There is no doubt in my mind that the
Lord knew what this little boy could do for our family. He is a blessing!
